Online Check In Question

So this is my first cruise with NCL, and I'm super excited! Online Check In seems to be missing something though.

The other line that I've cruised has you enter a credit card number at online Check In for your onboard spending, but I didn't see it when I completed Check In for this cruise. When do I give them my card for on board spending?

IIRC, they take it when you check-in at the pier.

My last 3 they have a little terminal at check in desk, they swipe it and you select current to charge in and sign. Celebrity you enter it before but only the last 4 digits so they have to swipe it too. Just have it in your hand with your passport and sea pass
