Anthem of the Seas - Indoor Pool

Hello,

 

We are considering taking Anthem of the Seas out of New Jersey for a NYE cruise, however we have some misgivings about leaving from a port in the northeastern US during that time of year. The one saving grace that I can see is the indoor pool area, but I was wondering how effectively a room covered in that much glass keeps out the cold air, wind, etc.? Does the Anthem's crew keep this area warm enough for swimming even in the dead of winter in New Jersey?

Yes, Anthem was built for cooler weather and much to do indoors.

I've sailed her twice in feb and once in oct. the solarium is toasty.

We were on her her ditsy December. Hit a cold front heading home. We spent our day in the solarium and pool and hot tub. Very cozy. Pretty cold and windy outside.

It's as the name implies- an INDOOR pool. As warm as if you were outside on a summer day or you heated your home to 89 degrees. Same with adult area. No wind, no drafts.
