Ping Pong on the Glory

We are sailing on the Glory next February and my grandson loves ping pong. Do they have tables? Are they in a good place out of the wind? Thanks for any information you can give us!

I was on Glory in Dec 2015 and I don't remember any ping pong tables. But they did have a dry dock after my cruise, so I'm not sure if they added any tables.

Yes, there are. Unfortunately, the one ping pong table I saw was NOT out of the wind and was beside stairs. A father was playing with his young son and it was a very, very long game. The ball kept going down the stairs. It is located between the main pool and the Serenity deck, going up the stairs from the main pool. Perhaps there was another one also but this is the one I saw.

Our grandson is 16 and a very good player My husband also plays. The stairs wouldn't be a problem, as they have good control. On the other hand if it's in a windy area that wouldn't be good. Other ships we've been on have tournaments. Has anyone noticed if this is the case on carnival? Thanks for your help!

Was on the Glory in April, there were two ping pong tables in the before mentioned location. Wind wasn't an issue when docked, but seemed pretty strong on sea days.

I don't recall seeing a ping pong tournament in the Fun Times. But there are usually 1 or 2 tables forward on deck 10 or 11, and if it's windy, the game can be affected. I recall seeing a table outside of a spa entrance on an open deck as well.

 

Shuffleboard is located aft deck above the pool.
