Pool towels

hi, can anyone tell me how pool towels work on Britannia, are they supplied or do you take your own?

You can also take them off the ship if you are sunbathing ashore.

There are used towel containers around the pool and at the gangways so you can deposit them or you can leave them in the bathroom. You cabin steward will just replace them like the bathroom towels.

Some people leave them on their sunbeds which is really annoying if you are looking for a sunbed. In fact, I've seen people leave them on sunbeds on beaches.

You are usually allocated a towel each which are replenished up to twice a day by the cabin steward. You may ask him/her for more but if you get stuck then a raid in the spa changing room area is required. They have racks of towels in there for people to take, normally for use about their own pool.

Are the provided towels standard bath towel size, or the more luxurious bathsheet size? Can't be doing with trying to cover a sunbed with something the size of a hanky LOL!

The special Blue Towels for pool use are beach towel size and as has been said before, you can also take them off ship to the beaches. Many people use two Blue Towels for their lounger, they must be raiding the spa supply or using both from the cabin for themselves. The white bathroom towels are in three different sizes with the smallest about the size of a hanky plus an additional specialist towel of a thicker quality for standing on and using in case of shower over flow due to incorrect shower curtain deployment. Britannia has glass cubicle doors but you still get the one to stand on.

Just so you're aware, P&O aren't happy about any towels, other than the blue ones, being taken out of the cabins.
