luggage restriction?

If you are flying, you are limited to your airline's bag restrictions.

If you are driving to port, there are no limits - other than the fact that what you actually carry onboard with you and don't check with the porters must fit through scanners like at the airport. If it won't fit through the scanner, they'll make you take it back out of the terminal and check it with the porters.

For the airlines, no bag can be larger than a total of 62" when you measure the height, length and width of the bag. No bag can weigh more than 50LBS. Two checked bags per person and one carry on bag. Your purse or camera bag doesn't count toward the carry on limit. If you exceed any of those limits, expect to pay hefty fees to the airline.

For the ship, a reasonable amount of luggage is acceptable, but they never say what's reasonable. If you're on a 7 day cruise, you shouldn't need more than one suitcase and one garment bag.

I agree. You're probably thinking about taking 'way too many outfits. You can so easily mix and match things, and lighten your load as far as clothing. You'll be surprised, and wish you had taken about half what you packed.

About storage space in the cabins, there's plenty. Under the beds, in the closets...and one good idea is to put one empty bag inside a larger one for storage.

Now - go unpack half your 'stuff'.:D

There is a limit. 200 pounds per person. Unless you are going around the world, you should be able to keep it under 200 pounds per person.
