Waitlist for Early Dining but 2 linked bookings

Our family of 5 is in 2 cabins, currently Your Way dining. I would like to put us (both bookings) on the waitlist for early dining. Would the sysyem know to keep us together as 1 table for 5 (or larger with other passengers)?

When you say "both bookings", then I assume both cabins are not under the same booking number. So when we have had different booking numbers, I have always had to call Carnival and "link" the bookings together for the MDR. It used to be so easy, but as of the last few years, I have had to call Carnival with my booking number, my password for my booking, along with my friends booking number and their password. I have never felt right about asking my friends their password, but it is what we have had to do.

Since, we have found Your Time Dining, we have just done that and gone early (6:00-6:30) and have never had a problem getting a table to accommodate us and have enjoyed it much better.
