Conquest - Special Dietary Requirements

One of our traveling companions has special diatary requirements....he is allergic to wheat in any form and any amount.....we have sailed on other lines who have been wonderful accomodating his needs. The rep at Carnival assured us we could contact he maitre' d when after we boarded and he would be able to coordinate with the kitchen to facilitate the special diet. Has anyone ever done this? If so, how did it work out for you? TIA

He should also call special services and speak to a person there. If there is special food they need to have onboard they will need to get it there. Then when he is onboard--the matre de is who he needs to see. then the waiter. They will give him a menu to make changes to his choices.
