We will be in Belize city in August on the Carnival glory. Our arrival time is 8 AM. We have an excursion booked that will pick us up from the ship at 12:15 PM. Do we have time to tender into port, browse around a bit, and make it back to the ship in time for our excursion, all without being stressed? We have faster to the fun, so that should give us priority boarding on the tenders. Thanks!

Depends in part how far out you anchor. But most tenders are 15-20 minutes. In the morning they have more frequent runs as people are getting off the ship. But they leave regularly at all times. When one leaves the tender pier, there'll be another getting ready to board passengers for the trip back.

If all you are doing is going to the pier and not venturing off outside the cruise port, then you don't need to be on the first tender off. Grab one around 9AM or an hour after the first tender leaves. Not a lot around on the pier, early, a few shops but you can walk the entire length in under 5 minutes when it's most crowded. I'd doubt you'll be there over an hour unless you stop to get something to eat or drink. Then at the latest catch one back about an hour before your excursion starts so you can drop off anything and get ready for the excursion.
