Adventurous Excursions

My husband and I are cruising on the Carnival Breeze in August to Cozumel, Belize, and Roatan. We really want to do some more adventurous excursions including a zip lining excursion at one of the ports. Which port has the best zip line and what are some of the other more active and exciting excursions? Should we book with Carnival or are there other vendors that are recommended?

Belize and Roatan both have zipline tours. We have not done them there, but have seen them and both look worthwhile. Belize ziplines are a bit farther from port, so it is good to do a combo tour since you are right by the cave tubing sites. Carnival has a combo tour which will guarantee you make it back to the port and tender back to ship before it leaves.

 

Roatan has several ziplines, one right at the port, and several at the west end area. Less travel time = more chance to do other things.

 

Cozumel is a flat as a pancake island...zipline is just going from pole to pole at palm tree level = waste of money.

If you want to do an adventurous excursion there, do a discover scuba or if you ware already certified, a scuba boat trip. Cozumel is all about hte ocean.
