Bourbons on Summit

I have become a connoisseur of top-shelf bourbons in recent years and am wondering if anyone who has recently been on the Summit could tell me what brands of bourbons they encountered and enjoyed. I am especially hoping to hear that Blanton's was available.;p

Blanton's is very scarce. I'd be very surprised to ever see it on a cruise ship.

We did a bourbon tasting on Silhouette and they offered Woodford, Bakers 107 proof, Makers Mark, Bookers, Knob Creek and Basil Hayden. Liked the Bakers after adding a little water, but was

surprised by the Knob Creek.

If you're heading to St Maartin or St Thomas, try to pick up a bottle of Blanton's SFTB, not sold in the US. I doubt you will find Blanton's or a number of other higher end bourbon's on a Celebrity ship. I just stumbled on a bottle of US Blanton's a few weeks ago...the only one in the store and I bought it as the owner was putting it on the shelf.

 

There are many excellent bourbons these days...the ones mentioned are some very good, almost reasonably priced, bourbons.

The World Bar on the Silhouette offer Bulleit Bourbon which is 90 proof...I would be surprised if it were not offered on the Summitt. Definitely a nice bourbon!!
