Kenny1080 Posted July 4, 2017 #1 Share Posted July 4, 2017 Due to go on a cruise in July and was wondering if all dining areas will have high chairs for infants? DS 18 months has recently decided he is too big to sit in high chair at home leading to worries over eating on cruise. Can anyone advise the type/brand of highchair used onboard? Any other suggestions for a stubborn young boy's seating arrangement is welcome
gymbomb Posted July 4, 2017 #2 Share Posted July 4, 2017 We were able to get a high chair at every restaurant we went to on both Epic and Breakaway (including buffet, main dining rooms, osheehans, and specialty restaurants). They were gray plastic ones that otherwise look a lot like the wood ones in most restaurants. Brand may have been Rubbermaid? cb at sea Posted July 4, 2017 #3 Share Posted July 4, 2017 I believe they also have "booster seats", if that will work better.

trinitytrees Posted July 5, 2017 #6 Share Posted July 5, 2017 We travelled on the Epic with infant, and two other children, we were booked in Haven and ate in speciality dining each night, we were dismayed at having to wait for a high chair, we were told there were not many on board. One night we waited almost hour, with fraught child who did not want to sit on parents lap yet was too small to sit on a chair. The result was upset family, wasted time and Spoiled dining experience not only for us but I'm sure also for others guests trying to enjoy their meal. That was onboard epic about 15 months ago, with full capacity ship at Easter with lots of children on board, I would hope they have now bought more high chairs.
