EBKrueger Posted July 6, 2017 #1 Share Posted July 6, 2017 Hi all, Been scanning the forums here but haven't found the answer to our question. So here goes: we're sailing on EOS to Alaska August 11-18 RT out of Seattle (first cruise for hubby, second for me, first time to Alaska for both!) and we booked an excursion through RCI to see Seattle on disembarkation day with airport drop off, tour starting at 8:30 am. Our question is this: will we have to take our checked luggage with us on the tour or can we do the valet program where they drop off luggage at airport for us? Also, has anyone done this in the past and should I try to change reservation times? I'm worried about leaving boat on time. But if we have excursion planned will that give us a better chance of getting off on time? Our flight's late afternoon so that time isn't an issue. Thanks in advance! Clarea Posted July 6, 2017 #2 Share Posted July 6, 2017 If you don't use Luggage Valet (and I'm not sure this is available in Seattle), then the tour operator will take care of your luggage. When we once did a post-cruise excursion, our bags were stored on the bus. If you have a post-cruise excursion from the cruise line, they will automatically issue you the correctly timed departure luggage tags.
