Slippin Posted July 8, 2017 #1 Share Posted July 8, 2017 My wife and I just booked a last minute casino offer on the Breeze for July 30 going to Nassau, Key West, and Freeport. I am going to do research on here of course, but we are looking for things to do at these ports. What advice can you give?

bury me at sea Posted July 8, 2017 #3 Share Posted July 8, 2017 We enjoyed a day pass at the British Hilton in Nassau. Nice amenities, pool, beach area and food/drinks. Really had fun in Key West on the hop on-off trolley. Toured Hemingway's house. Snorkled in beautiful waters in Freeport. Tour entailed a bus ride of about 25-30 minutes. We're doing this same itinerary again in summer of 2018 as our farewell to the Breeze cruise. Happy sailing.

SkyPiglet Posted July 8, 2017 #6 Share Posted July 8, 2017 My wife and I just booked a last minute casino offer on the Breeze for July 30 going to Nassau, Key West, and Freeport. I am going to do research on here of course, but we are looking for things to do at these ports. What advice can you give? Nassau: I have been there once. There is quite a bit to do there. We usually book a snorkeling expedition. There is also the Atlantis Resort and quite a lot going on in the city. You will have no trouble finding something to do, especially if it is your first time there. Freeport: We have been there once. I would strongly recommend that you book an excursion there. The port itself is an industrial shipping port and there is very little to do, unless you book an excursion. Since most excursions there would be outside of the port, you may want to consider booking through the cruise line if you get paranoid about missing the boat. Key West: I have never been, but it is on my bucket list. Sorry I cannot offer much advice on this one. Carnival Breeze: You picked an awesome ship, with plenty of dining and entertainment options. IMHO, it is the best ship in the fleet.
