Canadian Exchange Rates for 2017-18

Can anyone post what their exchange rate has been this week while booking cruises? According to xe.com as of just now, it is 0.786615 U.S. for every $1 CDN.

 

I check the ncl.com site daily and the prices haven't fluctuated at all for months (for the cruises I have been tracking).

 

How can us Canadians know that we are getting the most current exchange on our cruises if they are all listed in Canadian dollars?

If you are accessing NCL from a Canadian ip address it will default to ncl.ca. I tried using the force command but it looks like it won't work. You may have to look into getting a proxy server or VPN.

 

Or.... you could call for US prices.

I used a vpn. Prices on Canadian site are consistently higher by around $50 then if you use the current exchange rate

I also find that xe.com only every shows the "BUY" rate and not the "SELL" rate for currency, which is a little misleading.
