Hadacareer Posted July 24, 2017 #1 Share Posted July 24, 2017 Extremely disappointed to hear that NCL no longer offers the Chef's Table experience
Rare CTCruiser001 Posted July 24, 2017 #2 Share Posted July 24, 2017 Agree. We did it 3 times and loved each experience. I would love to see them bring it back and make it a TRUE chef's table...No shared (among ships) or preplanned menus, but a meal the chef prepares as he sees fit. Unfortunately it isn't economical or practical given the need to source and deliver the products to the ships, plus the limited amount of time the Executive Chef has to actually put something together each sailing. DMH15 Posted July 24, 2017 #4 Share Posted July 24, 2017 I did CT twice on NCL and once on Carnival. All 3 were excellent and memorable events. Some cruises were totally sold out and one time I was the only one who signed up so it was cancelled. So disappointed. My sister and I really enjoyed the molecular gastronomy used in these meals. Kamfish642 Posted July 24, 2017 #5 Share Posted July 24, 2017 My wife and I attended 4 Chef's Tables. Eventhough the menu didn't change, we really enjoyed the experience. Some of our best cruise friends were met at the Chef's Table.
sc2011 Posted July 25, 2017 #6 Share Posted July 25, 2017 Best night of a cruise was our Chef's table experience on the Sky. Would have loved to do it again some time. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
