Jacksonville parking

We are sailing the Elation Nov 13 and have never cruised from Jax. How is parking? Better to park at the port? Or offsite?

You can't find easier port parking than Jacksonville. You pull in, park, there are usually porters in the parking lot to take your bags, and the parking lot is literally a couple hundred yards away from the terminal building. We were parked and in the security line in under 10 minutes.

We always preferred to park at the port in Jax

For off-site, very close with a shuttle to the pier, look into the Parking Mall.

Bear in mind, that I have heard recently that they won't allow shuttles into the terminal grounds. They have to drop you off at the gate. Can't confirm that, though.
