New to Cruising Discovery Oct 17

Recommended Posts

Hi all, we're having our first ever cruise with Tui Discovery in October this year. Not sure what to expect as its all inclusive. But wondered if anyone could give us some tips about the ship, where's good to eat, best place for a quiet drink, what all inclusive looks like on board and pool life. We've booked a balcony cabin on deck 6.:) Thanks K

You will be spoilt for choice as far as eating goes. The Island buffet has a varied selection of food and it's different every day. Then you have 47 and Gallery 47 which gives you a waiter service with an Italian themed menu.

If you want to pay a bit extra then there 2 more area's (names escape me) although we never felt we needed to use these as the food is so nice in the other areas.

All inclusive is great you are given a credit card at the start of the cruise which you use to get on and off the ship. It is also used to make any purchases on board. Most drinks are free but check as some carry an extra charge. Bizarrely water is not free.
