Carnival Vista Premier cruise - Premier check-in or platinum check-in ?

I will be on the Vista Premier cruise january 7 2018, i am platinum, which check-in should i use ? Another question, the offer says "commemorative gift" and "other perks and surprises", what can i expect ? Thank you

The gift we got were two nice players club beach towels and other daily gifts in the cabin, bottle of wine, cookies etc....there were tournaments and drawings but we never won. The others perks are listed on your invitation.

I always check in in the diamond/platinum lounge. Premiers board after other priority passengers. As far as gifts, i've gotten beach towels and computer bags among other things. When you get to your cabin you should find a bag with some kind of mug/cup, lanyards, your drinks on us cards and a schedule of activities. The first afternoon at five there will be a cocktail party and this is where the first cash giveaway is held. You must be present to win this one. You must be present for all games/giveaways in the casino also. During the week you should get champagne, chocolate covered strawberries, cookies and other goodies delivered to your cabin.

No, that is the amount offered to you based on previous play. I've had offers ranging from $300 to $900. My next cruise is in December which is not a premier. I contacted the players club and got $400 plus drinks on us card.
