jcas5599 Posted August 2, 2017 #1 Share Posted August 2, 2017 hi, My bestie and I are thinking of going on this cruise in Sept. I don't have kids and she has 3 - but she is not bringing them. She wants to be kid-free for a couple of days... since most schools will be in session by then, any idea of the amount of children that cruise right when school starts? I am thinking about the 9/9 -9/16 time. How loud is the 8th floor for rooms - I.e. the restaurants above at night? Any info would be helpful. tef43 Posted August 2, 2017 #2 Share Posted August 2, 2017 If you are below the buffet area, not bad. If you are below the open decks, be prepared to be awakened at dark-thirty by the scraping sounds of deck chairs being rearranged by the crew. jcas5599 Posted August 2, 2017 Author #3 Share Posted August 2, 2017 thank you for your quick response. I appreciate it. What does FTTF mean? I keep seeing it and I can't figure it out.
Rare Essiesmom Posted August 2, 2017 #4 Share Posted August 2, 2017 thank you for your quick response. I appreciate it. What does FTTF mean? I keep seeing it and I can't figure it out. It's a gimmick on Carnival called Faster To The Fun. You pay an amount per cabin (It varies by cruise length) and it gets you earlier checkin /boarding, earlier cabin access, earlier luggage delivery, and priority tendering...EM
