Dawn boarding time

I'm driving my daughter and her boyfriend into Boston tomorrow to board the Dawn. Their documents say they won't be allowed in any earlier than their noon boarding time. I haven't read anywhere that Norwegian has turned passengers away for arriving early, but I could be missing something. It's been 10 years since I e cruised Norwegian. If they want to get on early, can they? What time should they plan on checking in?

If they are ready to board (customer cleared, etc), they are not going to turn someone away.

 

And, if they were not ready, your son can just stand there and wait. No big deal.
