Anyone been in a mini cat ac and a vista suite, is it worth the extra money? It would be for 3 passengers.

Thanks

If you are going to spend anytime in the cabin - I would upgrade. Otherwise, the minisuite will be fine.

Here are some pics of the Vista Suite on the Golden (should be identical on the Star) - they are labeled as VS in my pics:

It really depends on the itinerary. If you have a port-intensive trip planned, the bigger cabin probably is not worth the expense. With more sea days, you'll appreciate the extra room. As to the additional cost, that's a tough call. With three people, you might find the two-room bathroom a real benefit. We've been in both types of cabin, and find the mini-suites perfectly acceptable for the two of us.

The other nice thing about the suite is that there is a heavy curtain that can be pulled to separate the bedroom from the living area, where your third passenger will sleep. You won't find that in a mini.

Completed:

Sea Princess, Royal Princess, Grand Princess (3X), Caribbean Princess, Golden Princess
