pokerpro5 Posted August 11, 2017 #1 Share Posted August 11, 2017 *** PLEASE ONLY ANSWER THIS IF YOU ARE FAMILIAR WITH THE CAESARS SEVEN STARS YEARLY BALCONY CRUISE BENEFIT *** I currently have a cruise booked on NCL for November, and final payment date will be coming shortly. The cruise has a $200 Admin fee and the various taxes. I realize that I will be forfeiting my $200 Admin fee if I cancel after the final payment date, as the deposit ($250) exceeds the Admin Fee. However, if I do this, and if I'm willing to eat the $200, am I still able to rebook another cruise on this same certificate? I am assuming yes, but just want to verify. The certificate is good until January 31, 2018. On a side note, the reason I might cancel is because I need a second room, and at the moment, the price for second rooms on this particular cruise is very high. So if the prices come down a few weeks after final payment day (as they often do), I will go. Otherwise, I will not go, and might pick a different cruise. Also, is there any way out of forfeiting the $200 Admin Fee is I swap this cruise for another one AFTER final payment date? I'm assuming no. The only thing you will lose is whatever offers were available at the time you booked. Since most of them stayed the same you should be ok. You can rebook any time you just may not have the same room location. The problem is that I was booked on the "no taxes" promotion, which was a bi misleading, but still saved me over $100 per person, so I will lose that. Usually if you are a week or 2 past that date CAS will let it slide but if you had to book the cruise a few months ago you may lose the certificate. I would speak to someone at the Miami CAS office vs the Mesa Arizona certificate line. Mesa does not have the leeway that Miami does. I know you play a lot so they may just forgo the certificate and just comp you the cruise without the certificate. Another option would be contacting your casino host at TR and see if they can generate a new certificate for you. Let us know your outcome.
