PROBLEM I need help with solving

Recommended Posts

Ok I recently got married to my lovely wife in the Philippines and I really would like to take her around the med on a cruise next year. I was just wondering what the situation is with regards to getting off the cruise ship while in ports while docked and how the Schengen visa rules apply. So I have a british passport and my wife a pilipinas passport . and she now lives with me in the UK and it will be another 5 years before she is able to obtain a british passport.

The UK isn't part of the Schengen Agreement either right? So she would at least need a visa for the first port of call outside the UK, or to get to your departure point if not leaving from Southampton.
