What can I expect? - 1 year

We will be crusing to cozumel in Nov 2006. Will things be back close to normal? Will piers be repaired? One of our favorite place is paradise beach, I think it is up and running again!

Things are looking pretty good here now and yes, Paradise Beach is open.

 

In a year's time..? I imagine you'll be hard-pushed to know there was even a hurricane and I think at least 2 if not all piers should be repaired by then....

I'll only go as far as 2 piers back in service. Puerto Maya is pretty much gone.

 

I think you will still be able to see signs that Cozumel has be visited by a hurricane or two if you look for it. Otherwise, it should be back to "normal". That is of course there are no direct hits during hurricane season next year.
