dmpuszcz Posted September 4, 2017 #1 Share Posted September 4, 2017 What time does disembarking start (barring any complications)? I know it's not the best idea to try for an 11:00am flight out of Fort Lauderdale but it would really be ideal if we can make that. If anyone has the link to what terminal you're leaving and returning to can you post it? Thanks!
ColinIllinois Posted September 4, 2017 #2 Share Posted September 4, 2017 You asked this earlier on and got a response. http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=2540591
garycarla Posted September 4, 2017 #3 Share Posted September 4, 2017 As mentioned.. check your earlier post. As to which terminal... does not matter. There will be signs as you arrive pointing the way. When you leave, a cab will be the fastest. If you do car service, they will find your ship. Darcy03231 Posted September 5, 2017 #4 Share Posted September 5, 2017 We were on the 8/19 sailing and did the self debark. We were off the ship by 8:45 am. I booked a shuttle through Jiffy Jeff and he was right there to pick us up.
Chakuna Posted September 5, 2017 #5 Share Posted September 5, 2017 We sailed on the Escape 8/26-9/2/17....we walked off at 8:30 and was in the miami airport at 9:05am...it was the easiest disembarkations we have ever encountered after 15 cruises!!!! That being said depending on traffic you should be fine to make it to Ft lauderdale airport in time.
zqvol Posted September 6, 2017 #6 Share Posted September 6, 2017 Best you can realistically hope is to be at FLL by 9:30 or so. That is doable but tight as security lines and check in lines on cruise days can be really long, unless you have precheck. I wouldn't book out of FLL before noon. dmpuszcz Posted September 6, 2017 Author #7 Share Posted September 6, 2017 Thank you for all your responses. I would really love to fly out of Fort Lauderdale but I think Miami will probably be our best bet.
