Rare TLCOhio Posted September 12, 2017 #1 Share Posted September 12, 2017 Does Silversea have interests and plans to be more active and visible in monitoring, responding, being involved, etc., with various social media sites including here at Cruise Critic? Crystal has added Andy Geller as their "Crystal Social Media Ambassador". Once, there was someone from Silversea who posted here and has since, as best I know, disappeared totally. It seems that Barbara Muckermann, the new SS chief marketing officer, understands that social media can be an important part of two-way communications. These connections will grow in importance, especially with those younger who could be the Silversea customers for the future. Reactions? Detailed thoughts/plans? Glad you are doing this program as a serious sign of interest in getting customer feed-back and input. THANKS! Enjoy! Rare TLCOhio Posted September 19, 2017 Author #2 Share Posted September 19, 2017 Know yesterday was a busy/pressured day for Mark with Hurricane Maria starting to hit the eastern Caribbean. This top SS official responded yesterday to seven questions. Appreciate these follow-ups, this info and his insights. But, if possible, it would be nice if he, or his new social media person, Sarah Socarras, could respond to some of the other questions. Hint? Hint?? Any chance for more follow-ups from the SS top folks? THANKS! Enjoy! UKCruiseJeff Posted September 19, 2017 #3 Share Posted September 19, 2017 Terry, The whole point of the annoucement was for Mark to interact personally here. So no problem with Sarah answering the questions you have asked if you feel that they need more urgent attention, as that is clearly fine by you, but perhaps others are a touch more patient and haven't prematurely presumed that Mark will not return and answer some of the other questions when he can. I'm more than happy to wait for Mark to reply when his workload allows. Thanks.

Agree with Jeff on being totally flexible as to whenever and how works for Mark and/or Sarah being able to respond more on some of the other questions. Appreciate what he posted and view this as an excellent start for Silversea doing more two-way communications in this part of the social media world. THANKS! Enjoy! UKCruiseJeff Posted September 19, 2017 #5 Share Posted September 19, 2017 Terry, Your request asked for Sarah to respond to other peoples' questions, which I felt wasn't really for you to request on their behalf. Sarah has already clearly been invited to participate more in CC and I'm sure she will if she wishes to. :)
