cruisinjan Posted September 15, 2017 #1 Share Posted September 15, 2017 We wanted to take the bus to the Turtle Farm. Was wondering where the terminal is, how much and if its in US funds. Also does anyone know if the Rum cake factory is in walking distance from the Turtle farm. Thanks for any help.
drew sailbum Posted September 15, 2017 #2 Share Posted September 15, 2017 The bus depot is on Edward Street next to the library, a long city block inland from the port. Bus fare varies according to distance traveled. From the depot to the Turtle Farm should be CI$2, which is US$2.50 per person, each way. US currency (bills) accepted, US coins maybe not. Change would likely be in CI$ coins. There is a Tortuga Rum Cake bakery and shop on North West Point Road, across and a short distance down the road from the Cayman Turtle Farm within easy walking distance. cb at sea Posted September 16, 2017 #3 Share Posted September 16, 2017 Just so you know...if there are 2 of you, a $5 bill works...you don't need exact change for each person.....but do try to have close to exact for the bus.
