phabric Posted December 7, 2005 #1 Share Posted December 7, 2005 It seems that Grand Turk is a new port for Carnival. Would be interested in hearing from anybody that has gone there. What you did you do?

Zeno Posted January 9, 2006 #3 Share Posted January 9, 2006 Check out this thread - a little info: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=272999 As I said in that thread I have not been to Grand Turk (just to Provo (Providenciales) and North Caicos. I have spoken to people on Provo who are from Grand Turk. The little museum is supposed to be nice and Governor's Beach is recommended.
Katie333 Posted January 9, 2006 #4 Share Posted January 9, 2006 I like the 'off the beaten path' places myself and it can be tough to visit some of these by cruiseship. My next cruise is scheduled to stop in Grand Turk, and being a lover of historical places & things, I emailed the little museum there. The curator was very gracious, gave me all kinds of info and even suggested how I might best explore the town and the museum. His pleasant attitude and helpfulness really made me feel good about visiting there. I've heard it's not quite a paradise that some islands are, but what a neat place to say you've been. Liv4cruzin Posted January 9, 2006 #5 Share Posted January 9, 2006 Look a little further down on this board under a thread marked "Turks & Caicos". I & several others posted their views on this cruise port of call.
