Going on the Ruby in March. We arrive at 1pm and depart next day at 1pm. Can someone please give me details if they have done this before? Last time I did a 2 day in Cabo we had to be back on ship and we went out to sea and then came back next day.

Thanks ;)

When we did this a couple of years ago tenders ran until about midnight. They started again about 6am. All aboard was an hour before sailing on the second day. We were advised to not try to stay off the ship overnight. BTW, the ship stayed anchored in the harbor area the whole time. Pretty much the same arrival and departure time as your cruise.

Thank you. I've read so many different answers. I wasn't sure if we went to sea so casino could open?

I don't think it is open on the overnight stay (but,we never checked), however, it is open the other 4 nights of the cruise. Plenty of time to win your fortune. :D

Correct. I’ve taken this cruise before and will again in February 2018. With all the problems and warnings about the Cabo area, I don’t think you’d want to be in town later than midnight. After the other ships sail in the afternoon, it’s relatively quiet.

As said, the ship remains anchored. She won’t sail out to sea just to open the ship’s and casino. As I remember, I was surprised that Traditional dining was the same as usual. I felt badly for the waitstaff as there was practically no one in the dining room and they couldn’t get time off or go into town themselves.
