donr Posted October 11, 2017 #1 Share Posted October 11, 2017 Hi, We are on a Celebrity Summit cruise in December that's re-routing to St Vincent because of St Martin hurricane damage. From what I read, this is an island in a chain of about 35 that form The Grenadines. I need some ideas on what beaches to go to, I'm sure there are ferry boats all over the place since these islands are all pretty well packed together. I'm looking for a picturesque beach with a beach bar or restaurant near by.
disneykins Posted December 13, 2017 #2 Share Posted December 13, 2017 We are looking for the same thing. Did you find anything?
tmilak Posted December 13, 2017 #3 Share Posted December 13, 2017 We are looking for the same thing. Did you find anything? On the same cruise as you. Because it is a Sunday no ferries will be available for the times we are in port but you can check out Fantasea which does a nice tour to Bequia. elklemi Posted February 21, 2018 #4 Share Posted February 21, 2018 I was in Bequia in December and it was the highlight of my trip, neat little town around the bay and nice shops, bars, restaurants under the palm trees with the sailboats out in the harbour. 20 minute walk to Princess Margaret beach and had a great time and if you can arrange it you won't be disappointed. this is the only stop on our cruise that I bought a t shirt so that says something.
