KI Cruiser Posted October 11, 2017 #1 Share Posted October 11, 2017 Anyone ever been to the Blue Hole? Docking in King's Wharf...is it far from there? Any advice or info about the visit? Pics of it on the net look great.
SailBadtheSinner Posted October 12, 2017 #2 Share Posted October 12, 2017 Blue Hole is located in Tom Moore's Jungle. There are 2 ways to get there from the Dockyard. One way is to take the ferry from the Dockyard to St George (travel time about 45 minutes). From SG, you would take a cab or bus to get to TMJ (travel time about 8-13 minutes). The other way is to take the ferry from the Dockyard to Hamilton (travel time about 20 minutes). From Hamilton, you would take a cab or bus to get to TMJ (travel time about 24-35 minutes). To consider, the ferry from the Dockyard to St George departs the Dockyard 5 times per day on Mon, Wed, & Thurs; 3 times per day on Tues & Fri; and does not run on weekends. The ferry from the Dockyard to Hamilton departs the Dockyard 15 times per day on weekdays; and 9 times on weekends. If you are more interested in jumping into the water, you can do some cliff diving/jumping at Admiralty House Park which is about a 10 minute bus ride from Hamilton. Check out this YouTube . Check out this with the dog jumping at about 22 seconds in. SBtS
