*Luv2Cruz* Posted October 14, 2017 #2 Share Posted October 14, 2017 We have insurance for our trip through Norwegian but what does it cover? Where can I get more info? You should probably ask your TA or NCL to find out exactly what you have. I did find this on there site which may help. Good luck and enjoy! https://www.ncl.com/freestyle-cruise/booksafe Sent from my SM-T350 using Tapatalk
Rare mking8288 Posted October 14, 2017 #3 Share Posted October 14, 2017 We have insurance for our trip through Norwegian but what does it cover? Where can I get more info? Well, log into your own MyNCL dot com account and if you click "View Vacations" for the details under "Vacation Summary" & then under the "Payment" tab ... it will list the type of protection or insurance that you've purchased ;p There is also a "limited" travel protection policy, Essentials Travel Protection Plan that can be added after final payment - NCL quoted that at just $25 per person on our BIL/SIL's upcoming sailing, against En Route Protection (trip delays), Medical Protection and Baggage Protection. It is NOT for everyone, coverage is secondary to other primary insurance (i.e. credit card used) & zero protection about cancellation due to illness or for "any reasons" like hurricane or loss of job or family "emergencies". Our BIL's have a decent coverage from their credit card but decided to add this mainly for the "medical" provisions. It is different than the Booksafe protection plans in 2 tiers routinely offered & added for new NCL booking, as the premium for that is on a sliding scale based on your total costs, etc. If yours were added, a confirmation email from NCL should've been send.
