New Years Eve cruise - dining questions

Just booked Breakaway 7 not Bahamas cruise departing 12/28/17 which means we'all be cruising over New Years. First time on Breakaway and first time cruising over a holiday. Wondering if anyone knows how NY Eve being night 3 will impact the typical order of dining. I know from past cruises on the Gem (albeit10 nighters), night 2 was Norwegians Night Out. Will this still be the case on the 7 night cruise? Will there be anything special done for NY Eve? Might they move Norwegians Night Out to the 3rd night to coincide with NY Eve? Might also be affected by the fact that we're in Pt Canaveral on 12/31 with scheduled departure of 9 pm. We're trying to decide what nights we should book any specialty dining so would greatly appreciate any thoughts or input from those who've cruised over New Years.

We are also booked for Breakaway this NYE. Sailing date is Friday 12/29/17 We were on Gem last NYE. Passengers definitely were a little more dressed up that evening We dined at Cagney's on NYE. It was packed. Best is to make a dining reservation for that evening online or as soon as you board.See you onboard !!

We were on the New Year's cruise on the Breakaway last year. We had dinner in the Manhattan Room and they had a special menu for that night but I don't remember what was on it. There were parties in lots of locations on the ship. In the Manhattan Room, they had a large screen that was showing the party at Spice H2O,which seemed to be the main party. A little before midnight, they handed out party hats and noisemakers and passed around champagne. It was a fun night.
