Booked excursions but changing ships

So if we decided to change itineraries and sail on another ship will the excursions that were already booked become and on board credit or will we lose out on that money? I️ am already aware that carnival will charge me $50 per person to change ships I’m just curious about the excursions booked?

You will get a refund to the original form of payment for your excursions that are cancelled. You will then have to book excursions for your new ship.
