Vistadeck Posted June 20, 2004 #1 Share Posted June 20, 2004 I had been on the Sun and Dawn Princess but its been a few years, I must say I thought the food was jacked up a knotch or two in the dining room from what I had remembered. That was my most pleasant surprise. We spend 3 days at the Princess Mt. McKinley Lodge and met up with the ship in Whittier. We didn't do a cruise tour but did our own planning. Even so, Princess still moved our luggage from the Lodge to the ship, it appeared in our cabin as like magic Had a great time, lots of photos and a pictorial on my website please have a look and feel free to leave questions and comments on the message board Tina Countdown to the Infinity ! susanv64 Posted June 20, 2004 #2 Share Posted June 20, 2004 Tina, Thankyou so much for sharing your photos on your website. I will be on the Sun Princess for the first time next May. We will be leaving Vancouver for a very short 3 nighter, doing Seattle and Victoria. I, too, will be traveling with a girlfriend who has never cruised before. This is only my 3rd time. In March, my husband and I sailed Celebrity Mercy round trip from San Francisco to Cabo San Lucas. What a fabulous experience going under the Golden Gate Bridge! This will be my 1st cruise with Princess. I'm very excited but wish it was longer the 3 nights. My husband wants to do Alaska next so I will visit your site for future updates. coiran Posted June 21, 2004 #3 Share Posted June 21, 2004 We had our fourth cruise on the Sun Princess this past February - our last was in 2002 - and , I agree, the food was excellent - I think the best we have had on any of our 14 Princess cruises - but then we have nevwer had bad food, service, or a bad cruise experience with Princess. auntieann Posted June 21, 2004 #4 Share Posted June 21, 2004 I may be partial, but the Sun is a beauty in any background, but especially among glaciers. Thanks for sharing.
