kkttc Posted November 18, 2017 #1 Share Posted November 18, 2017 Hi, In port on Dec 26th and thinking about a visit to Nelson's dockyard (first time ever in Antigua) and wondering if things will be closed that day being the day after christmas? Also looking for suggestions on visiting Nelson's Dockyard and a beach. We are in port from 9am to 5pm. There are of course excursions from the ship, but I like the idea of just being able to come and go as we please instead of being on a tour timetable. Thanks. sunny2runner Posted December 3, 2017 #2 Share Posted December 3, 2017 Are you on MSC? We are and in port that day as well. Nothing looked appealing on the MSC excursions options. I think I might book a tour through a local tour guide to take us to Nelson's Shipyard and few other places and than to Valley Church beach for a couple of hours. kkttc Posted December 4, 2017 Author #3 Share Posted December 4, 2017 Yup we are on the seaside! We have teens and young adults with us so thinking dockyard might be a yawn fest for them. Would like to find a snorkeling area and maybe an place for water sports? Sent from my iPhone using Forums
