Has anyone done this tour in Juneau? Is it worth double-booking with the glacier helicopter landing/trek?

In my opinion YES! I think you have two very different excursions picked out which would make for a wonderful day. There was a question like this on the Alaska thread and someone said you wouldn't see much of Juneau with both excursions...that would be ok with me because I'd love to do both of these instead of see the "stores" in town. I did the Taku Lodge last year and loved it. It was a beautiful flight over the glacier & river and a delicious salmon meal in a warm & cozy lodge. The scenery is unbelievable & oh my..so peaceful to sit on the porch and imagine what it would be like to live there. Then combine that with an exciting helicopter ride & trek on a glacier...WOW...what a day.
