kathiewe Posted January 2, 2018 #27 Share Posted January 2, 2018 We are self described Disney addicts... WDW passholders for 14 years, DVC timeshare owners, and Disney regulars. However we love NCL. Our son loves Splash Academy. Loves the water slides, ropes course, rock climbing wall, and ice cream. Disney is great but just cannot justify the price for a cruise. Oh and Daddy like the casino, which Disney does not have.
amallison Posted January 2, 2018 #28 Share Posted January 2, 2018 We actually just got off of the Pearl this past Saturday and this was the first time we took our kids, ages 7 & 9. They absolutely loved it & have been begging to book another cruise! Our kids love to swim so we spent a lot of time at the pool. With that being said, we still felt like there was a lot for them to do. They loved the shows, played soccer and basketball on the sports court, tried rock climbing, discovered a new love for shuffleboard, had an interesting time attempting a game of chess, and really enjoyed Splash Academy! I do think there is a lot more for them to do on a larger ship but we felt like this was a good place to start with them.
