Searching for a Peaceful Beach Day in Cozumel

Heading to Cozumel in Feb., in port 8am-6:30 pm. (4) ships in port that day. We are in our Mid 40's and have been to Cozumel 4-5 times. We have done the ship excursions in the past. Looking for something nice and relaxing with swimming, sunning and cocktails.

 

Love a clean, white sandy beach with beautiful sea views, beach chairs / loungers and Free of crowds.

(can't enjoy ourselves if they pack in the loungers with people side-by-side like sardines!)

 

May be some walking paths that lead to private little alcoves.

Bar and restaurant on side. Prefer beach chair service, but getting our own drinks is fine too.

No need for beach equipment or extra inflatables.

Taxi ride to and from.

Pay as you go or All-inclusive, either is fine

 

Suggestions appreciated. So far, Paradise and Chankanaab are on my radar, but even those seem a bit too crowded for me?

Nachi Cocom limits theirs guests, it used to be 100, now I think it’s 130, both times we’ve been, there’s been less than 40 people. Nice beach, pool with swim up bar, all inclusive for $55.

Just got back from The Money Bar. Right before Chankanaub. Not a lot of sand, better than avg snorkeling, great food, great service, beer, drinks, liquor, 2 lunch meals....$56. Cab was $12 each way

Nachi Cocum fits the bill perfectly. It’s our go to piece of heaven in Cozumel.

Another vote for Nachi - quiet, relaxing and not crowded with great service and good food & drinks. AI for about $55 each and taxi each way will be about $17 (fare covers up to 4 in the taxi, so pair up with others from your roll call to save $$)

Yes - with a limit on guests (no more than 130 per day) you need to book in advance because on busy port days it often is sold out. Book on the Nachi web site.
