Photo package

First time cruiser on Royal Caribbean. Can someone please give me the lowdown on the photo package, please? There will be two of us cruising, . myself and my 18 year old daughter. Do we both have to buy packages? Or since we both will be in the majority of the photos together will purchasing only one work? Thanks.
