iPad to tv in cabin

I was able to do this - I had to unplug the celebrity HDMI cable as it appeared that the other one was disabled

Sometimes the other inputs are disabled - sometimes not. Just depends. We now bring a small HDMI switch with us so I don't need to keep swapping cables.

Can you tell me what a small HDMI switch is? I usually just bring my HDMI cord and hope the port is not disabled. Thanks.

Something like this. https://www.amazon.com/Fosmon-HD1832-Intelligent-Splitter-Supports/dp/B008D6YZXG/ref=sr_1_11?s=audio-video-accessories&ie=UTF8&qid=1515770423&sr=1-11&keywords=hdmi+switch

Will allow you to plug multiple HDMI cables into a single TV input (if that is all that has been enabled) and switch between them.
