The funniest part was being escorted behind the scenes and everyone looking at us wondering if we were being kicked off the ship! If you have to do this, know that they will initially say no, but if you push and have any connections that can pull some strings, it can be done. Sent from my iPhone using Forums I know this is an old post, but hoping I might get some recommendations on who to contact at NCL to request early disembarkation in Italy (Livorno instead of Civitavecchia port) due to medical condition with Medical Provider documentation Sadly, NCL seems to make an issue whereas other lines just request a waiver request form be completed for early disembarkation. Thanks in advance.

Cruise line permission should be obtained prior to the cruise as customs and immigration need to be available at port of disembarkation. Cruises go between US and Canada all the time.
