janny444 Posted January 10, 2018 #1 Share Posted January 10, 2018 Hi....just wondering why there are fixed beds on Plaza deck on Azura/Ventura....are the beds the "normal" twin bed size as in other cabins....are the cabins narrower so can't accommodate beds in Queen style or is it because of a completely different reason? mandylennon Posted January 10, 2018 #2 Share Posted January 10, 2018 I think you usually find cabins on the lower decks sleep up to 4 people with a lot having additional pullman beds so fixed beds are a must, apart from that I don't see any other reason, just that it is what P&O want. I assume all standard 3ft single beds are the same size throughout the ship.
janny444 Posted January 10, 2018 Author #3 Share Posted January 10, 2018 Hi....the cabin that we are considering just has 2 beds...no upper berths
jocap Posted January 10, 2018 #4 Share Posted January 10, 2018 We've had a double inside on P deck, deck 5 on Ventura, and it was just the usual two twin beds made up as a double. The cabin was smaller than others we've had on that ship, but the beds were the normal size. where are these fixed beds?
janny444 Posted January 11, 2018 Author #5 Share Posted January 11, 2018 Hi....the fixed beds are more towards the front on deck 5....think they are marked with a dot icon. The beds cannot be made up as a double configuration.
jocap Posted January 11, 2018 #6 Share Posted January 11, 2018 Ah, perhaps it's as the ship narrows towards the front? Sorry, I don't know about that... have you googled the deck plans?
