Bringing Wine/Champagne Onboard -750ml clarification

I went through the boards and I could not see it posted anywhere, but it states on Carnival policy that if you are over 21 years old you may bring one 750 mL bottle of wine or champagne. My question is, I can’t drink entire bottle of champagne in one sitting, Would they allow you to bring two bottles (splits) that are 375 mL each? There are 2 of us so I was hoping to bring 4 375mL bottles. Do you think this would be allowed, or definite no go?

So, you couldn't bring the 4 pk of the small bottles?

According to the rules, no.

I have not seen anyone on this board state what they actually experienced after attempting to bring on smaller bottles that added up to the 750ml pp limit. i.e. was the letter of the law enforced, or the spirit of the law?
