kidlessatsea Posted January 12, 2018 #1 Share Posted January 12, 2018 My family of four is travelling on the Breeze in April. We have the two kids booked in an inside cabin and we are booked in a cove balcony across the hall (2266/2264). My daughter is 6 years old and it is highly likely that we will actually want her in our room at night. Is there a place for her to sleep? I know this room is 'designed' for two but is there a couch that the steward will make up as a bed for her? I have been unable to find information for our actual room. I have seen videos and pictures of many cove balconies but are they all the same? Any help is appreciated.
tigereye Posted January 12, 2018 #2 Share Posted January 12, 2018 I been in a cove and had a sofa bed. We slept 2 adults and a teenager with no problems.
CajunCruiseDreamer Posted January 12, 2018 #3 Share Posted January 12, 2018 Some of the sofas are convertible into a bed and others are not. From the cabin number you have given, no, it will not make into a bed.

You could ask, I am inclined to say no due to policy, but one never knows.
versuco Posted January 12, 2018 #6 Share Posted January 12, 2018 We had a cove balcony for two on the Dream. Our 8 year old granddaughter wanted to sleep in our room one night and the steward made up the couch for her. I did not see any difference in our couch and our daughter's couch. She had a room for 4. runner15km Posted January 12, 2018 #7 Share Posted January 12, 2018 Have one adult sleep in the inside stateroom.
kidlessatsea Posted January 12, 2018 Author #8 Share Posted January 12, 2018 Have one adult sleep in the inside stateroom. Well that wouldn't make for a fun husband/wife cruise now would it. :-) My son is 17 and he will be sleeping in the inside room (hopefully alone). cmichael1279 Posted January 12, 2018 #9 Share Posted January 12, 2018 If you have to, just ask the room steward for some extra bedding and a pillow. Even if that couch doesn't pull out, I would think it would be comfortable enough for a 6 y/o

Rare willdra Posted January 13, 2018 #11 Share Posted January 13, 2018 Check the drawers under the couch when you get to the cabin. Sometimes there are extra sheets and pillows already in there. [emoji6] Sent from my iPad using Forums
bobjer17 Posted January 13, 2018 #12 Share Posted January 13, 2018 Double occupancy cabins are double occupancy for a reason. Dues policy and safety, Carnival may not be able to accommodate your request. As others have suggested why not have one of you sleep in the inside cabin? chascougs Posted January 13, 2018 #13 Share Posted January 13, 2018 We did the very same thing last cruise on the Magic except ours was 12 at the time. First night she just brought pillows and linen over to our cabin, next night the steward gladly made up the sofa for her (sofa did not convert to a bed but she had no complaints).
