We did the canopy tour on June 9th, we were on Carnival Pride but booked the tour through PV Pam. The tour operator was Las Vernas. The canopy tour was about 2 hours long. The price was $64 compared to over $100 through the ship.

We just returned from the June 13th sailing on RCCL's Legend. We booked independently thru Los Veranos and had a wonderful time. The view as you zip over the river is amazing! Although I wasn't watching my watch, I believe it was about 2 hours long and well worth it.

If you book online you get a 10% discount which brings your total to $63 US per person. Everyone spoke excellent English and the tour guides were great!

suziehmkr,

What other tours did you do? What other tours would you recommend? Did you hear any good feedback from other people on the ship?

We'll be on the Legend next week (leaving on the 27th). Was the ship nice? I have seen some reports that it is looking a little old (shouldn't be a surprise to anyone though, as she is 10 years old). We are really looking forward to the cruise!

How about good beaches or beach resorts?

Thanks for any tips.

Ed

Ed,
Actually, I have been trying to work on my review and should have it up in a day or so... plus a seperate one for the ports.

I didn't think she looked old at all. She has been refurbished and I thought she looked great!!

Keep an eye out for my Legend review on the main RCCL board and my Mexican Riviera review on these boards.

In the meantime, feel free to ask questions and I will try to answer.

In Cabo we did the Snorkel & Sail Fiesta thru RCCL and in Mazatlan we rode with Randi's Happy Horses (truly the highlight of our week) more to come soon!! I promise!
