katgar Posted April 5, 2004 #2 Share Posted April 5, 2004 Joan, I'm recently back from the Legend and went to one teatime. They had the lounge all set with plates and cups and once it began, one person came around with a chest of various teabags, followed by a person with the hot water. (I think the majority was Lipton) I tried the orange and also had green tea, but I know they had regular, camomile and others, at least a dozen choices. Then a couple of other people came around with various cookies, smoked salmon on a triangle of bread, mini filled donuts and mini cupcakes. marvholly Posted April 7, 2004 #3 Share Posted April 7, 2004 Just off the Carnival Victory Sun 4/4. The buffet had Lipton. For the afternoon tea on sea days in the Ionian Lounge they did have about 6 different Bigelow teas. Don't know what is available in the dine room since we did ice tea (already brewed pitchers) and capacino. Holly M/S Boheme 11/69 Rhapsody 2/77? Cotton Posted April 11, 2004 #4 Share Posted April 11, 2004 The last Tea I went to in September on the Holiday, they had several wooden chests full of teabags. They had "Stash", as well as "Bigelow". Many types, including Chai Spice and Chai Black, and the usual assortment. I was surprised to see they had "Blue Eyes", which is not one I often see. It's my favorite tea. They also served tea cakes, canapes, mini-cream puffs, napoleons, and eclairs. cruisn4evr Posted April 28, 2004 #5 Share Posted April 28, 2004 I am an avid tea drinker as well and I am now addicted to the vanilla teas. (french vanilla, vanilla almond, etc) They are delicious! Does Carnival have these?
