MiamiNicole Posted May 7, 2004 #1 Share Posted May 7, 2004 We are going on the Caribbean Princess in December. Trying to figure out if we should do the traditional 830 seating or do anytime dining. The anytime dinig has a caribbean food theme, we are just not sure if we should skip the traditional cruise experience of same waiter same table and also curious if the food quality and choices wont be as good? thanks for the help! wwinfl91 Posted May 7, 2004 #2 Share Posted May 7, 2004 We did PC dining on the Golden last summer and greatly enjoyed the experience. As far as I could tell the menus were the same in the PC dining room and the regular fixed dining room. The food and service were excellent as far as we were concerned. As good as any we have had on any cruise ship. If you find a waiter and table that you like you can reserve a seat at that table with that waiter for additional nights and basically recreate regular cruise seating in the PC dining room. You just talk to the head waiter and make the reservations. We found going to eat between 7:15 and 7:45 allowed us to walk right in and not have to wait in line which occurred if you waited until after 8. Have a great next cruise.
