Food allergies and MSC - Anyone with experience?

I have been recently diagnosed with allergies to dairy products. I did submit a form to MSC so that they are aware, but does it help? Do they acknowledge it on board? Of course, I will let them know at meal times - just wondering how they handle it. We will be in the YC restaurant for meals. Thanks in advance!

My son in law has the same problem and we were told to contact the maitre d once on board. I have noticed that there are plenty of dairy free products in the buffet and they seem to cater for people like yourself. On a previous cruise one of the ladies on our table had various allergies and the waiter had been told of this and she was able to choose from the menu ensuring all was OK for her and her food was prepared separately for her. Hope you do not have any trouble sorting this out. As you have submitted the special dietary requirements form you should be OK.
