lambdh Posted January 25, 2018 #1 Share Posted January 25, 2018 We are planning a day in Freeport in February. What would be our best option to visit Gold Rock Beach. An excursion or try to get a taxi in port?
brunello22 Posted January 25, 2018 #2 Share Posted January 25, 2018 If you're comfortable with driving on the left-hand side of the road, you could rent a car and then drive to Lucayan National Park and Gold Rock Beach.

Thanks for the suggestion, but think that would be out of our comfort zone.
Mdelletro Posted January 29, 2018 #4 Share Posted January 29, 2018 We just returned from an NCL cruise. Before we left we were disappointed they did not offer any options to see gold rock beach. However, they offered a much larger excursion list once we were on the ship. They had an excursion called caves & beaches. It took us on a 45min bus ride (not much to see along the way) to the Lucayan National park which includes Gold Rock beach. It offered quick self guided tour of the caves and about 2hrs at gold rock beach, then off to another beach for lunch. The beach was very nice but not something I would do again.
